Editorial note 001
Why N.M.A. archives feelings instead of objects
A console, cassette or television is only the visible anchor. The actual subject is the room, the ritual and the version of ourselves that existed around it.
Notes from the archive
The Journal is the place for personal essays, restoration notes, production decisions and the future first-person voice of Neon Memory Archive. It remains separate from the canonical Memory Files.
Editorial note 001
A console, cassette or television is only the visible anchor. The actual subject is the room, the ritual and the version of ourselves that existed around it.
Restoration log 001
Every file begins with a sensory threshold, expands into cultural context and returns to the emotional reason the memory remains.
Future editorial migration
Future rewrites may be narrated from an āIā perspective. This will only be done after personal details are explicitly grounded, so the archive never invents autobiographical experiences on behalf of its creator.
